Located in Downtown Providence, Negative Node starts to add a node to the already existing network. The structure is a small Avis car rental that is surrounded by monumental buildings and locations. From the site analysis, I decided to design a food truck hall, where the food truck can be a part of the building. I started with inverting the structure to create a simpler sqaured off geometry, that delineates three major spaces. A space for dinning, a space for restrooms and pick up waiting area, and a space for a food truck. The program and spatial design allows for users to use the space during the summer and winter months. The roof is continuous piece that connects the three main programs together, creating one cohesive design.
