The Human Exploration Spacecraft for Integration and Advancement is a 20 foot diameter, three story high chamber that will host four astronauts for 90 days. The purpose of this project is to design the interior architectural outfitting of the chamber that are required for a comfortable human habitation. Living in HESTIA for 90 days, the chamber needs to accommodate outfitting, living, and working comfortable. As this is a live-in analog, the chamber needs to meet certain safety standards. This group project is a partnering between The University of Arizona and NASA.
